For a change in PROS plans, the midyear activity will be held on the whole day of June 4, 2011 instead. The final venue is yet to be announced since Club Balai Isabel's location near Taal Volcano may pose risk due to its possible magmatic eruption. We will have a basic one-day Research Workshop followed by the Resident's Paper Presentation in the late afternoon as well as a surprise evening entertainment activity.
-Accommodations for 3 days and 2 nights stay at Balai Isabel
-Buffet meals (breakfast/lunch/dinner) and Snacks
-Free use of the conference room and audiovisual facilities
If we will be able to get a sponsor for this activity, it may be possible for us to shell out less than Php 4k per head. But for now, given that amount for the above inclusions, it is already a very good deal.
Check in time is at 2PM. Since our booking will only be held for us until April 8, we will need to get a headcount for us to be able to plan the accommodations and food arrangements.
Please e-mail via our yahoo groups if you are interested in joining the activity. Please e-mail your name as well as the names of your guests, including the ages of the children you intend to bring along. Due to the limited number of slots reserved for PROS, each PROS member is allowed up to 4 guests only for now. We will announce if there is still room for more than 4 guests per member and the corresponding amount any additional guest will need to pay once we have an idea of how many are going. For now, the estimated amount for any additional guest beyond 4 is Php 6,000 per guest.
Radiation Oncology residents may bring one (1) guest each for now if desired. Residents and their guest will also pay Php 4, 000 each for the activity. PROS will sponsor the activity fee of residents whose research papers are chosen for presentation.
